CVC, Advent International and Carlyle join forces

Three of the leading buy-out houses have pooled resources to take a majority stake in Lafarge Speciality Building Products for €890m ($766.54m), from Lafarge, the French-based construction materials group.

CVC Capital Partners, Advent International and Carlyle have all invested equally in the business, which includes aluminates, mortars, admixtures and paints activities.
