CVC Capital Partners, the European private equity firm, has appointed Miles Templeman, former managing director of Interbrew, as an advisor on the European drinks industry.

Templeman will advise CVC's teams on commercial and industrial issues. He will take an active role in CVC's leisure portfolio companies and look at prospective deals. Templeman will spend one or two days a week at CVC.
