CVC Credit Partners, the debt affiliate of buyout firm CVC Capital Partners, plans to raise a minimum of €300m through a UK listing of a new fund, as it seeks to benefit from the retreat of traditional lenders from leveraged finance.

In a statement, CVC said that it intends to list CVC Credit Partners European Opportunities on the London Stock Exchange with a target issue "in excess of €300m". The fund will invest in 25 to 40 companies with a minimum of €75m in Ebitda.
