CVC Capital Partners has appointed a former 3i executive as a partner in its Stockholm office, as it looks to build its momentum in the Nordic region.

The buyout firm has hired Tomas Ekman, it said in a statement, who previously worked as a partner and managing director in the Nordic team at UK-listed private equity house 3i Group.
