Dark liquidity pool opens

Nyfix, a US electronic trading venue, is launching a dark liquidity pool in Europe, as rival Investment Technology Group reaches monthly volumes of £50bn (€74bn) with its venue.

Dark liquidity pools are electronic trading venues that do not quote prices. They match buyers and sellers anonymously, minimising information leakage and market impact, often with lower direct trading costs.
