Funding cost shift spurs euro bond issuance from non-European corporates

Companies based outside Europe are issuing bonds denominated in euros in record volumes, as firms spot a funding opportunity.

Non-European corporates issued $4.8 billion of euro-denominated bonds last month, the second-largest tally since at least January 2011.
