Mark Dearlove, head of liquidity management at Barclays Capital, has been appointed interim head of Barclays Group treasury, following the departure of Peter Goshawk.

Dearlove has been promoted to the role in addition to his current position at Barclays Capital, while the UK financial services group searches for a replacement, according to sources close to Barclays Capital.
