Den norske Bank's assets under management increased by Nkr20.5bn (€2.7bn) from Nkr358bn to Nkr378.5bn in the first quarter of 2002, compared with the same period last year.

DnB has brought costs down and limited losses as well as won new money. The addition of assets under management does not account for any of Skandia's assets which DnB is in the midst of acquring.
