John Tiner, who steps down as chief executive of the Financial Services Authority next month, enjoyed a 14% jump in compensation last year, while chairman Callum McCarthy's package dipped slightly.
Tiner has been FSA chief executive for nearly four years and will leave after its annual meeting on July 19. He received £652,577 (€967,655) in salary, bonuses and other compensation in the financial year to March. That compares with £572,619 the previous year, according to the UK regulator's annual report published today.
