Deutsche Bank could add more than 100 jobs to maintain core business lines

Bank is looking to recruit in areas where it has been traditionally strong, even as it promises cost-cutting elsewhere

Deutsche Bank is looking to fill more than 100 roles at its investment bank in London, as it fights to protect core business lines not affected by its latest round of savage cutbacks.

The German lender last week announced plans to close its stock-trading business, strip out 18,000 jobs and shift €75bn of risk-weighted assets into a so-called bad bank.
