Deutsche Bank eyes corporate broking push after flurry of dealmaker hires

The German lender faces stiff competition, as Citigroup, HSBC and Goldman Sachs also look to gain market share in the UK

Deutsche Bank is making a renewed push into corporate broking as part of a broader expansion of its UK investment bank after a flurry of dealmaker hires.

The German lender has an “agenda of growth” for its corporate broking business, according to Lewis Burnett, who was hired from BNP Paribas to head up the unit in December.
