Deutsche Bank loses top client banker

Anthony Parsons, the vice-chairman of UK mergers and acquisitions, is the latest in a flow of bankers to boutique firms

One of the most senior coverage bankers at Deutsche Bank in the UK, who was the lead adviser on the abortive bid last year by security firm G4S for its Danish rival ISS, has left the firm and is understood to be joining the steady flow of bankers to boutique advisers.

Anthony Parsons, vice-chairman of UK mergers and acquisitions at Deutsche Bank, left the firm this month according to the Financial Services Authority register, and two separate sources said he is set to join Greenhill & Co. Deutsche Bank confirmed his departure but declined to comment further.
