Rolf Breuer, chairman of Deutsche Bank, has not ruled out a merger for Deutsche Bank in the wake of Allianz's purchase of Dresdner Bank.
Speaking at the presentation of Deutsche Bank's results in Frankfurt, Breuer said: "The Allianz and Dresdner deal has wide implications not just for those two institutions but for the whole environment that we operate in. There are new incentives to re-enter old talks now."
