Deutsche Bank has kicked off a probe into alleged mis-selling of some complex investment banking products by some of its employees, another potential blow for the German lender that has been trying to put years of hefty fines and scandals behind it.

The bank is looking into claims that some employees within its investment bank sold complex hedging products to clients who did not understand them.
