Deutsche Bank is to hire up to four senior mergers and acquisitions bankers for its Paris office as it tries to recapture a top 10 place in the French market.
Hubert Vannier, head of M&A in France, said the appointments would add to the five bankers it recruited last year for its French advisory business. The Paris office has about 20 banking staff. Vannier said the number needed to grow quickly to handle increasing levels of business.
