Deutsche Bank structured transactions group to shed 20 staff

Deutsche Bank is to halve the headcount in its structured transactions group, the business unit within its global markets division which runs tax and accounting on complex financial deals, after it named two new co-heads of the group.

Deutsche Bank is shifting the focus of its structured transactions group away from proprietary trading and towards corporate client-driven deals, and is to reduce its 40-strong team to 20 as a result.
