Deutsche Bank’s US operations chief to leave

Kate Clifford oversaw key US regulatory relationships

Deutsche Bank’s chief operating officer for the Americas, Kate Clifford, has quit after a little more than a year in the role, a key position responsible for relationships with top US regulators, according to people familiar with the matter.

Clifford joined Deutsche Bank in the investment bank in 2014. She was made operations chief in early 2018, reporting to the chief executive officer for the Americas, Tom Patrick.
