Deutsche Börse enters own blue-chip index

Deutsche Börse will be the first stock exchange to enter its own benchmark index in December, having become Germany's 19th largest company by market capitalisation.

Deutsche Börse has succeeded in listing on its own blue-chip DAX index thanks in part to the recent slump in equity markets, index weighting changes and recent share sales.
