Deutsche Börse may change rules on market-makers

Deutsche Börse, the German stock market operator, is considering changing its rules governing designated sponsors, who make markets in quoted securities, in order to improve liquidity for investors.

The changes, some of which could be introduced before the end of the year, include decreasing the number of shares that sponsors have to buy or sell, and reviewing trading limits more regularly.
