Deutsche Börse plans close of small-cap board

The German stock market operator said yesterday that it expects to close the market in December after revealing in February that it had suffered market abuse

Deutsche Börse has said that it will close a segment of its Frankfurt Stock Exchange in December, after the German stock market operator fell victim to a market abuse racket.

The announcement, made yesterday afternoon, comes nearly three weeks after the Federation of European Securities Exchanges, the European lobby group, raised concerns that market abuse may be going undetected across Europe.
