Deutsche faces Spanish trading ban

Two of Europe's largest financial groups are under national government scrutiny, with Deutsche Bank facing possible suspension from trading in Spain, and UBS threatened with punitive action by the Czech authorities.

The Comisión Nacional del Mercado de Valores, the Spanish market regulator, is investigating Deutsche Bank over trades connected to an exchangeable bond, convertible into the shares of Spanish food company Ebro Puleva.
