Deutsche freezes €6.1bn property fund

DB Real Estate Investment, the German property manager of Deutsche Bank, has frozen assets in its €6.1bn ($7.3bn) open-ended property fund, grundbesitz-invest.

It means investors will not be able to buy into the fund, nor sell holdings until the beginning of February when a revaluation of real estate in the fund is expected to be completed.
