Deutsche Bank has promoted Tony Burgess to co-head of its European mergers and acquisitions business, working alongside Don Johnston, the team's head of five years.

Burgess has been co-head of Deutsche's number one ranked Australian M&A unit for the last two years and will relocate from his native Australia to London.
