Deutsche Bank is poised to provide its back office systems to a raft of investment banks and other financial institutions as it aims to become the leading provider of cash management services across Europe.
Deutsche, which signed up Barclays Bank in a cash management partnership on Wednesday, confirmed it is in advanced talks with a number of banks over similar licensing agreements. Deutsche's cash management system will be used by Barclays' corporate clients to manage account services, domestic and international payments, liquidity management and electronic banking operations.
