Deutsche moves to reassure investors on control of funds unit

Deutsche Bank has clarified when it would relinquish control of the funds division it is listing in a partial IPO this year, in a move to reassure investors about its choice of corporate structure.

The asset manager, put on the block to raise capital as Deutsche faced down a $7.2bn fine from the US Department of Justice over mortgage mis-selling in 2016, has been preparing for its partial IPO for the past year.
