Deutsche names Japan head

Deutsche Bank has appointed a head of Japan as it prepares to "propel the business forward" as the world's second largest economy emerges from recession.

David Hatt will join as president of Deutsche Securities as well as regional chief executive and chief country officer for Deutsche Bank in Japan. He reports to Jürgen Fitschen, the group's global head of regional management.
