Deutsche recruits MD for consumer M&A

Deutsche Bank Securities has snapped up one of the top consumer-products bankers on Wall Street as it competes with rivals to build up its consumer practice.

Deutsche Bank hired Bruce Evans, who has been at Goldman Sachs for 18 years and became a managing director in 2000. He was recently considered for partner. Evans will join Deutsche's merger advisory group reporting to head of M&A Jim Stynes.
