Deutsche rejigs its derivatives line-up

Deutsche Bank has reshuffled the management team responsible for its debt derivatives businesses. The changes come as a result of the departure of Saman Majd to Deutsche Asset Management in May and the subsequent appointment of Anshu Jain as global head of OTC derivatives.

Changes at the most senior level of the bank's global markets division have left several executives with a patchwork quilt of responsibilities. Jain, for example, is global head of sales and emerging markets in addition to being head of derivatives. Changes to the next tier of management therefore place a premium on rationalisation, consolidating the number of line managers responsible for each geographical business.
