Deutsche Bank has sold the first of its European venture capital fund investments as part of the disposal of its private equity portfolio, in a secondaries sale to Cdb Web Tech, a listed Italian fund-of-funds group.

The five Israeli venture capital funds were worth a total $39.3m (€32m) in commitments and are 66% invested. The deal value was not disclosed. Cdb Web Tech funded the acquisition itself.
