HSBC has recruited Markus Herrmann from Deutsche Bank to head structured credit markets research within its fixed income credit research group in London.

Herrmann, who will join HSBC as a director in June, will be the lead analyst covering the structured credit, asset-backed and collateralised debt obligations (CDO) sectors. He will report to Frances Hutchinson, managing director of credit research.
