Investors in the suspended Morgan Grenfell Private Equity fund gave a favourable account of their first meeting with DB Capital Partners, the captive private equity arm of Deutsche Bank, which is expected to take over the Morgan Grenfell fund.
Graham Sturrock, head of investments and mezzanine at Bank of Scotland, who was present at the meeting held last Thursday, said it was a positive introduction to DB Capital. Investors get to vote in mid-October on whether Deutsche should fold the once autonomous fund into its own captive private equity arm.
