Development bank shifts HQ from Square Mile to Canary Wharf

EBRD will move into a new office building also occupied by Societe Generale

The European Bank for Reconstruction and Development has confirmed a well-trailed move of its headquarters from the City of London to Canary Wharf.

The multilateral development bank, which helps to finance projects in central and eastern Europe as well as central Asia, has taken a lease on the top 12 floors of the new 24-storey 5 Bank Street, according to a statement.
