Dexia chairman attacks shareholders for lack of vision

Francois Narmon, chairman of Dexia, the Belgian bank, has attacked three of his largest shareholders for thwarting merger talks with Italian rival Sanpaolo.

Narmon said in an interview with Le Soir, the Belgian Daily, and reported on Reuters, that he "deplored" the shareholders' action.
