Dexion raises £83m in a cooling market

Dexion Capital, the hedge fund consultant, has placed £83m (€119m) for its third fund of hedge funds to be listed on the London Stock Exchange. Shares in the fund are expected to start trading on November 29.

The issue, which was sponsored by Hoare Govett, part of ABN Amro, attracted a broad range of UK investors, including insurance companies, pension schemes, private wealth managers and discretionary asset managers.
