The former head of European rates at RBC Capital Markets, who left the bank in December last year, has re-emerged at Barclays, Financial News has learnt.

Diego Megia has joined the UK bank as a managing director. He is understood to have taken up the role of head of investment function last week, according to a person familiar with the move.
