JP Morgan’s new co-heads of European M&A have notched up an impressive first six months at the helm, and the pair spy plenty of opportunity ahead despite the summer's market volatility.

Dirk Albersmeier and David Lomer, M&A co-heads for Europe, the Middle East and Africa, have steered the US bank from the unfamiliar surroundings of 12th, to second in Dealogic's Emea adviser rankings since they began running the business in March. JP Morgan has worked on 98 deals worth $318.5 billion so far this year, according to data provider Dealogic.
