DLJ moves Rattner to UK

Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette has strengthened its plan to dominate the European high-yield business by moving Steven Rattner to London to head its European fixed-income business.

Rattner, 39, was a founding member of the firm's New York-based, high-yield business and he headed the division for the past five years. "Rattner really was the architect of the team's success," said James Alexandre, president of DLJ International in London.
