'Russian Zuckerberg' inks first robot deal

The co-founder of Mail.Ru has invested in a developer that can turn an iPad into a robot and is proving popular with Fortune 500 companies

Grishin Robotics, the robotics investor launched by the "Russian Mark Zuckerberg”, has just completed its first investment.

The firm, which was launched by Mail.Ru founder Dmitry Grishin, has invested $250,000 into Double Robotics, which builds telepresence robots that can turn an iPad into a robot. The robots sell for $2,499, though can be pre-ordered for $1,999.
