Clare Dobie has left Barclays Global Investors (BGI) to join Global Asset Management (GAM).

Dobie, who was most recently head of risk at BGI, has joined the UBS Asset Management-owned GAM. As managing director, responsible for marketing, Dobie reports directly to Burkhard Poschadel, group chief executive, in a newly-created role.
