Dôme Close Brothers, the French arm of Close Brothers Corporate Finance, has hired Virginie Scotto-La-Massèse as an assistant director covering telecoms, media and information technology (TMT).

Scotto-La-Massèse joins from Rothschild in London, where she was a manager covering the same sectors. Deals she has worked on include the disposal of Sema, the Anglo-French IT services provider, to international rival Schlumberger. She has also worked at Robertson Stephens in London and San Francisco and at Archon Group, the commercial real estate investment management and mortgage loan division of Goldman Sachs, in Paris.
