Downshifting to take on challenge in Iraq

Most investment bankers give up their careers to do something less stressful. That is everyone other than Andrew Alderson, the former head of the equity syndicate at Lazard.

He took the opposite tack and became head of finance for the Coalition Provisional Authority in Iraq. As a major in the Territorial Army, he received an MBE in last month's operational honours from the UK government.
