Germany's Dresdner Bank, which is in the process of merging with Commerzbank, said Tuesday its supervisory board has appointed Eric Strutz as the company's new chief financial officer.

Eric Strutz, who is chief financial officer of Commerzbank, is replacing Klaus Rosenfeld, who left his post as of March 17.
