A Dresdner Kleinwort veteran banker, who served on the executive committee, has become Evolution Securities' most senior hire from the German bank. Colin Phillips joins the UK independent investment bank as managing director, where he will rejoin the almost 50 Dresdner bankers recruited by Evolution in the past few months.

Evolution announced the appointment of Phillips this morning as managing director, responsible for marketing the bank to potential clients and investors and co-ordinating the positioning of Evolution Securities in the market.
