Dresdner Kleinwort Benson (DrKB) has helped Royal London transform itself this year by advising the company on two important acquisitions.
The insurance group, whose chief executive is Mike Yardley, last week bought Scottish Life for £1.1bn (𔚹.8bn). This followed a competitive auction and earlier in the year it acquired United Assurance Group. These two deals have turned Royal London from a firm with well under £10bn in funds under management to one with £30bn under management.
