Philippe Goffin has joined the financial sponsors coverage team at Dresdner Kleinwort Wasserstein. He is the third managing director to be appointed by Steven Berger, who was recruited in April as executive chairman, corporate finance and advisory.

Goffin previously worked at JP Morgan and at Chase Manhattan before it merged with JP Morgan in 2000. He left the US bank late last year. He has also worked at Citigroup.
