Dresdner Kleinwort Wasserstein (DrKW) has continued to build up its London equity capital markets business by hiring Stephen Garrett as a director and head of corporate block trading.

DrKW has around 30 employees in its London ECM business which John St John, global head of ECM has been rapidly expanding since he joined the firm from Commerzbank in June. Last month he hired Ken Robins from CSFB as global head of equity-linked origination to replace James Peattie.
