Dresdner Kleinwort Wasserstein (DrKW) has developed a Euronext Financial Information Exchange (FIX) trading protocol adapter using CameronFIX from Cameron Systems, the FIX engine supplier.

The bank used the engine to develop an adapter for Euronext as the pan-European exchange uses a 'non-pure' implementation of FIX, the protocol that standardises communications between fund managers and brokers. The adapter sits between the FIX engine and Euronext to enable straight-through processing.
