Dresdner Kleinwort Wasserstein (DrKW), Lehman Brothers and JP Morgan have received a boost after finally being able to confirm their involvement in one of the biggest mergers of the year, South African Breweries' (SAB) $5.6bn (€6bn) acquisition of US rival Miller Brewing Company.
DrKW and Lehman represented Philip Morris Companies, the food and tobacco conglomerate that is selling Miller. JP Morgan was sole financial adviser to SAB.
