Mid-market private equity firm Duke Street has acquired a healthcare company from US-listed firm Air Products & Chemicals in an all-equity deal backed by the founder of train and bus firm Stagecoach.

Duke Street said Wednesday it has agreed to buy Air Products' homecare operations in the UK and Ireland. The division, which delivers oxygen-therapy and non-invasive ventilation services to patients at home and in hospitals, is based in Crewe.
