Dutch bankers working for big firms in London and Hong Kong head back home to help grow a national champion

Dutch bank ABN Amro is building its equity capital markets business in Amsterdam as deal activity rises, hiring several local bankers who have spent recent years working overseas — including in the UK.

The bank has named Paul Huysmans, an equity banker at Deutsche Bank in London who previously worked at Credit Suisse, as its co-head of equity capital markets, working alongside Maarten Blomme.
